From my shop's window, I just saw the guy who lives in the building entering in his car and leaving. Yep, natural, I agree. But the guy was smoking, as he very often does (even in the presence of his son and his partner's daughter)  and he got few years ago a transplant that saved his life. He got that lucky, and he ruins it all for smoking? Pretty stupid, in my opinion.

I was, basically, a kid when I decided I'd never, ever wear white at my own wedding (AND when I decided that I'd going to have a small, intimate, tastefull CIVIL wedding with just a small buffet afterwards) .
Sometimes I think it's because of my mum's own doing -she ddin't wear white at her wdding, but an extremely light blue dress- AND there's the fact that, having studied a bit of anthrpology and Lating culture, I do know that the veil and teh white were meant to publically manifest the purity of body of tehbride (of course, tell me, how many people could wear white nowadays?) and i'd be an hypocrite.
Besides, I've seen teh most gorgeus red wedding dress (even if i'm most into violet blue, light blue and the darkest tone of ivory).
I do love white, though- many of my summers "down" pieces are white, but, simply, I don't think I'll ever change my mind, and when 8and if) I'll get amrreid I'll wear white. that's all.

note: this nonsense post ahs been ispired by a friend of mine, annoyed by the fact that next months 3 women she works with are getting amrried, she is invited to all wedding and she'll have to buy different outfits to avoid people talling and doesn't know where to find cheap ones..
