aka: my brother has been living in the era of tecnology and e-mail, and when he had to send a letter bu mail, few days ago, he got a mini nervous breakdown because...
"On which side of the envelope I am supposed to attack the stamp?"

...sorry, I just had to tell it to someone. I didn't know if I was supposed to cry or what.

Unfortunately it seems to be reality for many, dotsn't it?!

I remember the countless times we learnt to write a letter - I wrote a letter to the Queen and asked her to make the world of chocolate - and it's such a vital skill to have. Even if you don't use it often.

You mean he managed to actually write on the envelope...with a pen!! *gasp* What will happen next? I hope he didn't trap his hand when he put it in the post box. ;D

nope. I mean that I wrote the letter 8adressed to a costumer who's behind with the payments) and asked him to send it as I didn't have time to go and buy a stamp...

yep. At school, I didn't learn to write letters and so on, but when I was 4-5, mum used to bring me to the market on Saturday, and we'd buy a card and a stamp in a newstand close by, adn she would show me how to write my name and how to andress it, where the stamp was suposed to go and etc, then we'd send it, normally to my grandparents (who lived 15 minutes from us), just because she wanted for me to see how it was done...
