comic book fan rant- aka: Voltron picspan

little_firestarC'mon, you'll get to admit it, every now and then, we are all alowed to amke a post that doesn't have any sense at all.
and this is myne, celebrating the 28th birthday of Voltron Defender of the Universe (aka the reason I started watching tv) adn the reason I keep falling for bad guys, aka Lance McClain, the pilot of the red lion who, for years, though, dressed in blue.... 8(for a very funny video about the subject, go to
In the eighties- (well, actually, I think it was late seventies. you have to consider that Voltron was the cut and glue and 3 different shoes...) I don't know why, but that... bad guy attitude, I just found him so damn... chamring. yes, even at 4, I had the savior complex.
in the early 00, the fandom was renewed by Devildue comic book publishers, and we had Lance, reinvented "à la Shaggy de Scooby Doo".
last year, we got this, in the cartoon "Voltron Force": same jacket, and a finally mathing colours!
later this year, dynamite, new owner of the rights, published the new regular serie, and the prequel, voltron, year one:
but let's be honest: there's no one better than Timothy Omundson, with hiatus bear, as the middle-.age lance....
