warehouse 13, warehouse 13....

...what have you done?  Because, as much as suspenscion of disbelief I need to watch you, as good as a show as you are.... there are few mistakes that can't allow me to look the other way.
As in Episode 12, when at the  Warehouse, Myka, Artie and Jinks are trying to stop an artifact that has been activated. The lines of dialogue  are the following:

 Artie: [The gargoyle is a machine, one of Da Vinci's lost inventions. At the end of his life, the Italian governement commissioned him to build a device to protect the tresures of the Milan Cathedral"

Only thing is Da Vinci died in 1519, while there was no Italian Governement untill 1861, as, untill that yaer, "Italy" was merely a geographicl reality, divided in terrotories belonging to different countries....:
