a month of books- day 11
DAY 11: a book you once loved, and now hate
Ouch. Well, It’s not a book, but an author, as this is something that can be applied to everything from Patricia Cornwell. I find her books a bit too extreme and “hardcore”, and I wonder how I actually ended up loving them in the past. And I did love them. The same goes for Elizabeth George's novels; I used to love Inspector Linley, but I think that the Italian publication got me... well, to not like them. it's not good having a book where he is a murning widower because his wie has been murdered while pregnant, and few months later, it comes out a book where she is with her older producer and he is seeing his best freind's soon-to-be girlfriend. Order? what is order? (besides, he is an insesitive, spoiled brat, and womanizer jerk in the majority of the books, making his second feeling like crap because she isn't, according to him, a beatiful woman and he couldn't care less about her. and when he lost his wife? at mourning, he is worst than Jane.)
