homosexuality in comic books- aka a topic that shouldn't be a topic.

Less than a week apart, two of the main comic book publishers, Marvel and DC Comics launched press released where they stated that they were going to make theri first openly gay character. Northstar/Jena-Paul, getting married to his long-time boyfriend Kyle (Marvel) and were going to turn a character from the past, known in the previous time-line as straight, into gay (DC Comics).
Both publishers made a big deal about it, but I wonder if is the case. Why? Because we are in the 21st century, and discussing a thing such as sexual orientation should be like discussing hair color. saying that you're gay, straight or bisexual, in a perfect world, shoudl be like saying that you are a redhead or a brunette (even if marvel discuss amply when redheads are involved. it usually emans that fan will start speculating Jean Grey is back from the death once again)
Organisation One Million Moms asked to boicot both opublishers, stating about the books -RATED T BY THE PUBLISHEWRS, IF NOT T+  -
"Children desire to be just like superheroes. Children mimic superhero actions and even dress up in costumes to resemble these characters as much as possible. Can you imagine little boys saying, "I want a boyfriend or husband like X-Men?"

This is ridiculous! Why do adult gay men need comic superheroes as role models? They don't but do want to indoctrinate impressionable young minds by placing these gay characters on pedestals in a positive light. These companies are heavily influencing our youth by using children's superheroes to desensitize and brainwash them in thinking that a gay lifestyle choice is normal and desirable. As Christians, we know that homosexuality is a sin (Romans 1:26-27).

Unfortunately, children are now being exposed to homosexuality at an early age. Comic books would be one of the last places a parent would expect their child to be confronted with homosexual topics that are too complicated for them to understand. Children do not know what straight, homosexual, or coming out of the closet even means, but DC Comics and Marvel are using superheroes to confuse them on this topic to raise questions and awareness of an alternative lifestyle choice. These companies are prompting a premature discussion on sexual orientation.

This, in this centiry, in this year. I would suggest this people, to go and burn as many as theri book from Ancient Greece and the latin World altogether, becasue we all know that the majority of the great minds of the time were either homosexual or Bisexual, and maybe even stop teaching history. Who wants to know about Alexander the great, right?
God, why does it feel that as much as we evolve, the less evolved we are?
