Captain America: Steve Rogers #1/DC COMICS: REBIRTH ONE-SHOT
Oh, dear, oh, dear. Captain America, what did you do?!
According to Breevort, as long as someone is talking, it's good- hence for him it's good to make Captain America a white supremacist/hydra agent/nazi.
No. he is not mind-controlled.
No. it's not from the future, or alternate universe, and neither he si a clone or a lmd or a shape-shifter.
That's Steve Rogers, the guy who grew up with Buky Barnes and became Captain America and fought Nazis. Why? Because he had been a double agent his whole life.
And did he become Hydra? Because a charming woman suggested him to.
Even if... do you want to know what I find frustrating? The previous volume, set in dimesion Z, started in the same way: Steve and his mum, fighting to survive- to live- and dealing with Steve father's; but there, flashbacks showed us as little Steve became BETTER, and found the strenght to FIGHT his whole life because of that. Hell, he fondly remembered his grandfather's teachings, and adopted Zola's son and rised him as his own, and gave him his grandfather's name and made him his sidekick.
And now you are telling me everything was a lie?!
Ok, just for the record: I'm not buying issue #2. (and not only that. It's also because the art and coloring aren't thriling, and because you don't know when out comedy relief. AND turn pivotal characters in comic relief.)
I'll call this "A tale of two Wallies"
Why? Because apparently there are two Wally West in the universe.
And it's nothing new. It's just that we didn't know it yet.
Also, the last five years since Flashpoint? What the hell did we use them for? Pandora told them the universe had been split in 3 to make sure it wouldn't survive what was coming.
And guess what? It's not Darkseid, the Crime syndacate, nor anything like that.
Nope. it's the Watchmen.
Which means, get ready for 2017 summer event.
Also: what the hell happened to the green lanters? When did the came back? And how?
